Book A Hike!

Frequently Asked Questions

Please feel free to contact us if you have any additional questions or to book a hike.

Q: How long are the day trips?
A: Our day trips begin at 8:00 am and return at approximately 5:00 pm. However, if you are wishing an earlier start we can accommodate. We also offer ½ day trips on some of our local shorter trails and beaches.

Q: If it is raining, do we still go?
A: Yes, we will still go, even in the rain. We reserve the right to change the destination due to extreme weather or extreme high tides.

Q: Do you have group rates?
A: Yes, we do have group rates. Please contact us for more information.

Q: Where do you go for your hikes?
A: We mainly go to the west coast of the island to places such as San Josef Bay, Ronnings Garden, Raft Cove, Hecht Beach, Grant Bay, and Winter Harbour. We also offer shorter ½ day trips to some local areas. We'd be happy to custom-design a trip to suit your special interests.

Q: Do you have hikes for beginners?
A: Yes we do! The hikes at San Josef Bay, Ronnings Garden, Grant Bay, and Winter Harbour are all very easy and suitable for beginners.

Q: Do you have hikes for the experienced hiker?
A: Yes we do! The hikes at Raft Cove and Hecht Beach are great for the experienced hiker. Mt. Saint Patrick is very difficult and has a beautiful view on a clear day.

Q: What should I wear?
A: Clothing is a very important part of any hike. We suggest you dress in layers, wear light but warm clothing that dries quickly, and bring a hat on sunny or rainy days. If you have a rain jacket or a wind breaker you may want to bring it as the weather can change quickly on the west coast.

Q: What about lunch?
A: We'd be happy to supply lunch. Please contact us for more information.

Q: What time of year do you operate?
A: Our core season is from May to October, but we will arrange a trip at any time of the year. Book your trip today!.
